On Going Plan 2014

January 

Week 1
  • Make it possible to reach the end of a level and load up my main game
  • Learn to use buttons within game, these button will future be puzzle buttons.
  • Make sure that first bugs are fixes (stuck in the occasional wall)
  • Find and locate the different types of code (Numeric, Boolean and String - 2 of each) Once located these add a comment above it by adding (//)
Week 1 report
  • I made it so when you finish the first level of the first platform, it loads up the next platform level.
  • I made a secret whole which is like 'Mario' and the pipes, which puts you up to a secret area (this give the player more places to explore)
  • I found the locations of Numeric, Boolean and String coding and print screened them and uploaded them into a word document.
Week 2
  • Get the second level of the platform made and make it boot up the puzzle side.
  • Still attempting to fix the wall glitches.
  • Attempt to put in NPC's with moving ability, death and hit damage.
  • Add sound in future update.
Week 2 report
  • Got the second level 80% complete, still need to add the next level.
  • The wall glitch is still a problem and looks like it will be left till the bug fixes at the end.
  • Got moving NPC's now however they fail to change orientation when they reach end of path.
  • The sound is going to be a last minute installation, got to concentrate on getting a working game first.
Week 3
  • Complete Level 2 start work on the first and second puzzle.
  • Get health boxes working.
  • Think about taking away the slide effect on the character.
